So this morning I'm driving to the grocery store, pull in the parking lot and notice I have a friend traveling with me hanging onto the 'oh sh*t' handle. At least GI Joe will protect me and keep me safe!

The boys belt tested tonight! Zachary is testing for his senior yellow belt and Cooper is testing for his blue belt. The boys did great and they will find out next Saturday at the belt ceremony how they did! Good job guys! Your mama is proud :o)

Today Gracie and I met friends at the park. She was playing, I was looking for her after she had gone down the slide on the other side and I could not find her. So I started looking and she was on this spinning apparatus! It is tilted so that it spins when you sit in it and if you can not touch the ground to stop it, it will just continue to spin. So I find Gracie just spinning away. I was laughing so hard to tell you the truth. So of course I have to take a picture, so I set the shutter speed real slow so that I can get her in motion, but I don't have my tripod so this is what I get! But I love it! So after I take a few pictures I ask Gracie if she wants to get off. She of course is trying to tell me yes, so I stop her from spinning and take her off. That girl couldn't stand up to save her life, me again laughing!

All I can say is that there is a large need for chocolate at my house ;o)

A little project I worked on today. I took apart an old photo screen, painted it and put 10 current black & whites in it. Troy then hung it up for me! I like it a lot and I feel good that I recycled! Gracie is also excited b/c even though I constantly am taking pictures of her, I'm not very good at having them printed and so there is not a ton of pictures of her around the house. She always says to me, "Where am I mama?" So now she looks at it and says, "there I am mama!"

Gracie loves to ride the skateboard down the driveway! So easy to capture her happiness when she is outside playing! I think that is when she is the happiest!

I have been looking forward to this weekend for a while now! I got to go to a photography workshop in Austin given by http://pixelfairyprincess.blogspot.com I had such a great time and learned so much! I also got to meet six neat gals ;o) So much fun! Thanks Pixel Fairy Princess!

Post op recovery position. Our poor Mojo was spayed yesterday and she is so far from herself! Hopefully she will have a quick recovery, but I have to admit she adds quite a bit of chaos to our home and it has been kind of calm today :o)

Gracie adores Codi! I think Codi may have met her match though :o) Codi has always been a very bossy, do it her way kind of little girl since I have known her! Gracie drug Codi all over and bossed her around for two days! That's my princess!

Good friends in town for a quick visit! We met Mike and Kari when Kari was pregnant with their youngest son. He is now seven! Zak and Coop have been friends with Logan, Codi and Liam and now Gracie loves them dearly too! We just wish we lived closer so that we could see them more often because we miss them so much!

Troy has a new love in the garage! He finally got his bike! He has been a bit obsessed and a little impossible to live with with the anticipation of getting his bike! Thank God it's in the garage. Now we just have to get a sitter so that we can enjoy the bike together!

Tutus! I learned how to make no sew tutus and Gracie is ecstatic!! She can now have a tutu in any color she likes :o)

Cooper loves, loves, loves football. He is always playing catch even if it by himself. He is always asking someone to run routes with him. I'm not very good at throwing the football, but he will even play with me :o)

Troy is working very hard to get ready for his ER course. Every free minute he has he is doing modules and taking tests! Go TroyBoy Go!

Today Gracie and I went to our FCC Chinese New Year celebration. Gracie really enjoyed the lion dancers and the other traditional Chinese dancers!

Is it Halloween yet? No, no, I always have a Princess riding with me! Gracie loves to wear her dress up clothes when we go out and really I have no objection to it unless it is cold or something. And besides that she is just so stinkin cute!

Wow, it's February already! Today I went and did my second portfolio building photo shoot and it was so much fun. I photographed a beautiful 8 1/2 month pregnant Mommy. She has such a lovely home with great natural light! This picture makes me giggle because this must be what my kids think I look like!
