one hundred five

Today is tax day and we decided to take the kids with us to a tea party being held at the Alamo. This was a difficult decision for Troy and I but we decided it was a good lesson for our children to be exposed to. We were there to voice our disapproval of our current congress and the spending spree in Washington. To let our Senators and Representatives know we are dissatisfied with their actions, and to let President Obama know we don't agree with where he is taking our country. The lesson for our children was not our point of view, but to share with them their 1st amendment rights. To teach them they need to be knowledgeable and involved in their government! We love the USA and are so proud to be citizens of this great country and we want our children to know that they are part of the greatest nation on earth!

We also want to wish Grandma S. a very Happy Birthday! We miss you and love you very much! :o)
